Dallas Peters grew up knowing how to take a swing—on and off the golf course. Taught by his father at just eight years old, golf became his first passion and greatest teacher. By 21, he was competing professionally alongside the sport’s best. But golf wasn’t his only venture. Between rounds, he opened a thriving bar in a college town, launched several businesses, and chased the kind of life most only dream about—bold, curious, and full of motion. Through it all, he carried a relentless work ethic and an instinct for seeing opportunity where others saw risk. 

Then life shifted. A sudden car accident shattered more than bones—it closed the door on a lifelong dream. Around the same time, his father was diagnosed with cancer and passed away just months later. That season forced Dallas to pause, reflect, and reevaluate what mattered most. 

He moved back home to Florida and, at the suggestion of a golf sponsor, entered the world of insurance. What he learned through that transition still shapes the way he works today: life doesn’t wait, and planning for the unexpected is one of the most important things we can do for the people and priorities we hold dear. Now, Dallas leads Bastion Retirement Partners with a clear, straightforward philosophy—take chances in life, not with your money.
